Project Manager - Heavy Civil / Water Infrastructure
Compensation: $250,000-$300,000/yr
Location: On site in Connecticut - Cape Cod area
A well-established and growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Responsibilities
- Lead heavy civil and water/wastewater construction projects from award through closeout
- Manage project budgets, schedules, billing, forecasting, and change orders
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, field operations, and executive leadership
- Coordinate staffing, equipment, subcontractors, and project resources
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, and contract obligations
- Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction
Requirements
- 10-15+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil construction
- Experience with water/wastewater treatment facilities (required)
- Background in infrastructure projects such as pipelines, industrial facilities, bridges, or related heavy civil work
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
