The Service Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all actions to ensure installations, services and maintenance are completed per project timeline. Ensuring operational efficiencies to field tech teams. Directly managing electricians, installers, and other various field employees. Having direct field experience is critical to the success in this role and the overall impact to the organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate and oversee field service activities including installs, service calls and customer concerns in a timely manner
  • Manage projects along with field technician team ensuring seamless projects/installations
  • Track inventory and ensure materials are on trucks to complete all jobs
  • Manage and schedules service and maintenance calls
  • Monitors units
  • Coordinate and oversee field service activities
  • Prep and plan that jobs are successful and run on time and under budget
  • Dispatch field workers on installs, repairs and maintenance
  • Review job reports and coordinate any follow up required
  • Follow warranty claims from submission to approval
  • Quote required follow up work
  • Assist in permitting when required and coordinate inspections

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of project management experience in the electrical or construction space
  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Proven capacity to lead field electricians and technicians
  • Strong project management skills including ability to plan and organize labor daily
  • Solid understanding of building codes and construction/electrical/gas safety practices
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to identify and address potential issues or challenges in a timely an effective manner
  • Proficient computer systems
