onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Front-End Capacity planning team, located in Bucheon, South Korea.  As a Capacity Planner, you will have the opportunity to have oversight into the long term/short term capacity forecasting, and modeling, and system constraint solutions. Also having communication responsibilities to organize global teams, to be the subject matter expert of production planning/execution and supporting customer needs.

Qualifications - External

  • BS/MS degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or similar field
  • 3-5 years' directly related experience in Semiconductor business
  • Fluency in English for both Written & Verbal communication
  • SQL skill is a plus.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform required wafer start/out plan (business plans) to optimize, level factory production plan through skilled constraints management
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, Business Planning and other dept to balance supply against demand for seamless customer delivery satisfaction with efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate planning assumptions, including cycle time, yield, capacity /allocation to the Business Planning group, as well as back-end planning team to ensure accurate system planning.
  • Act as the communication owner and provide long term and short-term forecast generation to the factory
  • Perform deep diving into data, along with provide in depth analysis and recommendations to convert business requirement into capacity planning
  • Provide guidance and training to team members
  • Track and communicate key organizational initiatives
  • Contribute to timely customer demand by conducting appropriate capacity planning aligned with BOQ or Business Plan.
  • Manage production due dates by continuously collaborating with manufacturing to respond urgently to changes in customer requirements.
