Project Manager Multifamily
Nexus 5 Group is growing and we need to add an experienced outgoing project manager to add to our team!! Our passion is to Serve Well. Come join our great culture of teamwork.
Responsibilities:
  • Business Development
    • Emphasis in multifamily sales and client relationships
    • Utilizing contacts to gain access to new projects.
    • Developing and implementing sales strategies in key markets.
  • Project Management
    • Oversee multiple projects in various stages including budgeting, preconstruction, construction, completion, and closeout.
    • Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
    • Manage all project management processes for RFI’s, submittals, etc.
    • Budget tracking
    • Communicate effectively with the project team
    • Periodic inspection of construction sites.
  • Scheduling
    • Create and manage the project schedule with the superintendent.
    • Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule.
    • Coordinate subcontractor meetings on site as needed.
  • Estimating
    • Estimating during all phases of pre-construction (schematic design, design development, construction documents)
    • Bringing about optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms.
Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction projects (preferably multi-family and commercial construction).
  • A four-year bachelor’s degree in construction management is preferred but not required.
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety standards is essential.
  • Computer Skills: MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam preferred.
