The Role

As RFP Delivery Manager, you'll sit at the intersection of sales, product, and leadership-ensuring every proposal we submit is accurate, compelling, on time, and aligned with our software development capabilities. You'll own the proposal lifecycle from intake to submission, helping position our company as the clear choice for complex software development engagements.

A critical component of this role is strong written communication skills and a proven background responding to RFPs, developing structured project plans, and a willingness to embrace emerging technical tools, such as advanced AI frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the RFP/RFI/RFQ process from sourcing through final submission, ensuring deadlines are met with competitive responses.
  • Lead multi-team collaboration (Product, UX, Security, Technical) for content development, pricing, risk review, and compliance-ensuring accurate content, proposal priorities, and timely approvals throughout the proposal lifecycle.
  • Develop comprehensive response strategies that analyze client objectives, technical requirements, and evaluation criteria, and translate them into compelling proposal narratives that align our software solutions, delivery methodology, and differentiators with the client's priorities.
  • Create and manage proposal timelines, task assignments, and milestones to keep all contributors on track.
  • Edit and refine proposal content for clarity, consistency, tone, and persuasiveness-especially technical and delivery sections.
  • Translate complex software concepts into clear, client-friendly language that highlights business value, competitive advantages, and real-world impact-ensuring technical solutions are understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with RFP instructions, formatting requirements, and contractual guidelines.
  • Support sales strategy development by identifying opportunities to strengthen positioning and delivery models, and driving a proactive pipeline of contract opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing RFP responses, including coordinating inputs, drafting narrative content, and delivering high-quality submissions on deadline.
  • Technical background or hands-on exposure to software development, such as prior experience as a software engineer, completion of a coding bootcamp, or equivalent experience that provides a foundational understanding of system architecture, technology components, and solution design.
  • Working knowledge of modern software development methodologies and technical skill sets, with the ability to understand and communicate concepts related to engineering, product, and delivery teams.
  • Willingness to explore, adopt, and thoughtfully apply emerging AI tools to support RFP strategy, content development, and continuous process improvement.
