Position Summary...What you'll do...
VIZIOโs Information Technology team is seeking a Technology Support II (Supervisor) to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with cutting edge technology that helps facilitate productivity, support, and services to VIZIO. The Technology Support II will report to the Senior Manager, Technology Support and will help lead projects, supervise employees within the Technology Support, and support other teams as needed. Additionally, this role will provide support to employees in their local office and company-wide employees via remote assistance.ย
What you will do:โขย ย ย Supervise the Technology Support Team within VIZIO to meet SLAโs, procedures, and processes to drive effective availability for the Help Desk.
โขย ย ย Collaborate with embedded software and services development teams to ensure successful operations & project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
โขย ย ย Oversee and manage services operations, ensuring efficient processes and practices are in place.
โขย ย ย Lead various project management efforts, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of IT projects, ensuring they are completed within the specified time frame and budget.
โขย ย ย Facilitate issue resolution for elevated support by coordinating efforts across teams, ensuring timely responses to escalated concerns.
โขย ย ย Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations.
โขย ย ย Develop growth paths for the Specialist Technicianโs alongside Technology Support Management team and set goals accordingly for each member.
โขย ย ย Successfully divide and assign tasks and projects to the Technology Support Team.
โขย ย ย Manage On-Call procedure to ensure there is always support coverage for weekend employees.
โขย ย ย Evaluate (along with the Technology Support Management team) hardware to ensure maximum productivity.
โขย ย ย Oversee IT assets inventory and stocking level at each location alongside the Technology Support Management team.
โขย ย ย Partner with HR to ensure new hire procurement is met within SLAs.
โขย ย ย Provide support for Video Conferencing Systems.
โขย ย ย Direct and coordinate the work of IT teams across multiple disciplines, including application development, operations, networking, and cybersecurity, to achieve project objectives.
โขย ย ย Partner with the Information Security team to deploy and maintain new technologies like Netskope, GlobalProtect, Anti-virus, etc.
โขย ย ย Assist Infrastructure and Client Services Teams in deployment of new technologies like Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and others.
โขย ย ย Serve as a liaison between IT teams and Engineering executive management, providing clear communication on project status, challenges, and resolutions.
โขย ย ย Learn, support and fill-in for other team members, if required.
โขย ย ย Maintain high morale and motivate the maintain team to go above and beyond.
โขย ย ย Guide staff and adhere to IT Operations policies.
โขย ย ย Other tasks as assigned by the Technology Support Management team.
About you:โขย ย ย Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
โขย ย ย Experience in embedded software and services development.
โขย ย ย Proven project management experience, with a track record of successful project delivery across IT teams.
โขย ย ย Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives and stakeholders at all levels.
โขย ย ย Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in issue resolution and crisis management.
โขย ย ย Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
โขย ย ย Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools is preferred.
โขย ย ย You have a deep understanding of macOS with at least 3 years of experience supporting the OS.
โขย ย ย You have extensive experience with Windows 10. Minimum of 3 years.
โขย ย ย You have 5+ years of related work experience.
โขย ย ย You are a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, yet at times, ambiguous environment.
โขย ย ย You are a hard-working team player, with a โno task is too smallโ attitude.
โขย ย ย You can explain technical issues to non-technical users.
โขย ย ย You can work with software developers when they need assistance. Providing them with correct solutions and root causes analysis.
โขย ย ย At least 3 years of working with ticking systems like Jira, ServiceNow, etc.
โขย ย ย At least 3 years of working with Office 365 Admin Center.
โขย ย ย Exposure or understanding of Microsoft PowerShell (Automation) and Terminal for macOS.ย
โขย ย ย Solid foundation of Windows imaging .wim, ghost, etc.
โขย ย ย Exposure to software packaging.
โขย ย ย Understanding of Active Directory tools.

The annual salary range for this position is $72,000.00 - $132,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
