What does a canvasser do?

A typical day for a canvasser involves traveling to assigned neighborhoods or public spaces, engaging with residents face-to-face to share information or gather feedback, and recording their interactions using digital tools or forms. Canvassers often work in teams and receive daily training or strategy briefings before going into the field. The role requires walking for extended periods, handling various weather conditions, and interacting respectfully with people from different backgrounds.
