Position: Customer Service Representative (Health Benefits) – JP223918

Location: Pennington, NJ (Fully Onsite)

Contract: 9/8/2026 – 9/7/2027 (Potential for Extension or Permanent Placement)

Pay Rate: $21.00/HR, Paid Weekly

Shift Availability: Monday – Friday; Multiple Shift Available Below

Training: Held Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST. Upon completion of training, employees will transition to the schedule selected at the time of the offer.

Position Overview:

Health Benefits Solutions supports consumers with Health Savings Accounts offered through employer-sponsored benefit plans. The Customer Service Representative will provide consumers with clear and accurate information about their accounts while assisting with a variety of service-related requests.

This may include filing claims, ordering debit cards, resetting passwords, suspending lost or stolen cards, locating account statements, and resolving other account-related questions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients and internal partners with clear, complete, and accurate responses at the point of contact.
  • Assist consumers with Health Savings Account questions and service requests.
  • Guide consumers through filing claims, ordering debit cards, and locating account statements.
  • Assist with password resets and suspend cards that have been lost or stolen.
  • Deliver effective and efficient operational support to internal business partners, customers, and prospective clients.
  • Accurately authenticate clients and fully comply with established policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify and escalate potential risks.
  • Navigate multiple applications and tools to research policies, products, services, and account issues.
  • Resolve client account concerns accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide a positive customer experience that helps improve customers' financial lives.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least two years of customer service experience.
  • Previous call center experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy and the ability to navigate multiple screens and systems simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong grammar.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, and continuously changing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, customer service, and de-escalation skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to accept coaching and feedback.
  • Flexible, ambitious, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Workplace Expectations:

  • Cell Phones: The manager will review designated areas and approved times for personal phone calls.
  • Dress Code: Professional business-casual attire is required for both the interview and the assignment.
  • Attendance: Consistent daily attendance is required. Employees must follow the proper call-out procedures and notify the attendance line, direct supervisor, and staffing vendor of any absence.
  • Punctuality: Employees are allotted up to 16 hours of time off during their first 90 days. Candidates are strongly encouraged not to schedule time off during training.
  • Training Environment: Candidates must be comfortable participating in virtual training while onsite. Please do not bring personal comfort items, such as blankets, into the workplace.
