Processing Team Lead - JARS Cannabis

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Processing Team Lead to support the daily operations of our cannabis processing department. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for assisting the Processing Manager with workflow execution, team direction, compliance oversight, and maintaining operational standards throughout the department.

The Processing Team Lead will work directly alongside associates while helping coordinate daily priorities, monitor productivity and quality, reinforce SOPs and compliance requirements, and ensure smooth operations when the Processing Manager is unavailable.

This role requires someone who can lead by example, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and uphold high standards for accountability, cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork.


Pay & Schedule

  • Pay: $22-$26 per hour (based on experience)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Must be able to work AM or PM shifts based on business needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily processing operations and workflow coordination
  • Direct associates on daily priorities and task execution
  • Reinforce SOPs, compliance requirements, and company policies
  • Assist with oversight of:
    • Bucking
    • Sorting and weighing
    • Batching and package preparation
    • Bus tub preparation for trim teams
    • Cleaning and organization
  • Help maintain accurate inventory handling and chain-of-custody procedures
  • Assist with Dutchie-related processes and compliance activities
  • Monitor work quality, productivity, and cleanliness standards
  • Communicate operational or compliance concerns to management
  • Foster a professional, accountable, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

  • Cannabis processing, trimming, packaging, or production experience preferred
  • Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Comfortable directing peers and reinforcing standards
  • Willingness to learn compliance systems and inventory procedures
  • Reliable, professional, and dependable
  • Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical work
