Filtration & Purification: Perform critical filtration steps to maintain extract purity.

    • Utilize Buchner filters, trolley filters, and cryogenic freezers for winterization and post-extraction refinement.
    • Assist with chromatography and vacuum flash chromatography for cannabinoid isolation and purification.

    • Operate and maintain rolled film and wipe film units under guidance, performing regular cleaning, setup, and maintenance.

    • Assist with the labeling and packaging of final products when necessary.
    • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on associated equipment as required to maintain efficient operations.
    • Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance sampling, testing, and visual inspections to ensure all products meet or exceed Verona Collective's specifications and patients' expectations; such quality assurance work shall include, but not limited to:
      • Record and monitor process conditions to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
      • Proper weighing, data recording, and batch tracking throughout Verona Collective's process
      • Execute tests on required analytical equipment.

Inventory & Sanitation: Ensure lab cleanliness and inventory control.

    • Maintain and organize lab materials and inventory for medicated, non-medicated, and raw materials, as well as lab equipment supplies.
    • Sanitize work areas, log sanitation activities, and check for potential health code violations, mitigating the risk of contamination and cross-contamination.
