Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Paid Social & Digital Media Marketing Strategist to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our media initiatives across both B2C and B2B channels. This role is responsible for effectively planning, managing, executing, and reporting on all paid media activities-spanning traditional and non-traditional platforms-to drive measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with creative thinking and has a proven track record of delivering ROI-positive campaigns aligned with brand and revenue goals.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $90 - $100K per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Media Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies across digital and traditional channels, aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Plan and allocate budgets across B2C and B2B channels including paid social, programmatic display, paid search, retail media, affiliate, traditional media, and emerging platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in non-traditional media channels to expand reach and engagement.

Campaign Execution & Management
  • Own end-to-end execution of approved media buys and campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with campaign goals.
  • Manage campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Ads, and retail media networks.
  • Strategize, develop and manage affiliate campaigns in Yelp and Doordash and seek out new and emerging opportunities.
  • Manage day-to-day with the digital media agency, contractors and platform relationships, including acting as primary contact for activities, projects, work orders, data privacy and security review, contractual and legal review and billing.

Performance Optimization & Analytics
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance based on KPIs including ROAS, CPA, CAC, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Conduct A/B testing and audience segmentation to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure campaigns meet or exceed assigned ROI targets and marketing goals.

Reporting & Insights
  • Deliver regular reporting on media performance, translating data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Present campaign results and learnings to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain dashboards and performance tracking systems for transparency and scalability.
  • Manage effective and proactive digital outreach programs and collaborate on eCommerce content optimizations to drive qualified traffic and greater conversion online and analyze performance.
  • Run frequent traffic and site conversion reports in Google Analytics and other measurement sources and analyze the data to make media optimization recommendations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with brand, eCommerce, sales, and B2B teams to align media strategies with product launches, promotions, and retail initiatives.
  • Support integrated marketing efforts across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop campaign briefs that define strategy, objectives, KPIs, and campaign performance to maximize results and ROI through high-performing ad assets tailored to each channel and audience with a consistent brand voice and message across all programs.
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies including updates to paid social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by management within the originally agreed upon timeline.
  • Protect and manage the brand at all times.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field. Equivalent related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, or performance marketing, preferably within CPG or a related industry.
  • Proven experience managing both B2C and B2B campaigns.
  • Strong expertise in paid social platforms (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn) and digital media buying.
  • Experience with traditional media channels (TV, radio, OOH) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, platform dashboards, BI tools).
  • Strong understanding of attribution models, media mix modeling, and ROI measurement.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
