Job Summary:

An Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of equipment, including warehouse equipment, manufacturing equipment, plant equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment as directed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all manufacturing plant equipment.
  • Repair and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment in plant.
  • Follow all maintenance procedures to ensure proper preventative and corrective maintenance practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external plant policies and procedures.
  • Ensure safety of all personnel in the Maintenance group meets company standards of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations and those within Company Policy
  • Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies.
  • Conduct other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have Manufacturing experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Must have experience repairing manufacturing equipment and plant equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI, machine control and industrial robotics
  • Ability to interpret machine schematic, electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day shift or night shift
