Job description

MTSI is seeking a Training Program Manager (PM) with deep expertise in Aircraft operations to support the development, implementation, and sustainment of training solutions for aircraft systems and subsystems. The individual will translate user capability needs into system and subsystem training requirements, define and validate training objectives, and ensure training products accurately reflect system design, performance, and operational employment. Responsibilities include evaluating technical maturation activities, supporting design and integration reviews, assessing system performance and verification results, identifying deficiencies and recommending corrective actions, and coordinating training impacts across development, integration, test, fielding, sustainment, and modernization efforts.

The Training PM will ensure training systems, materials, and methods remain aligned with evolving platform capabilities and operational demands. Position requires close collaboration with the System Program Office (SPO) Chief Engineer, program managers, training developers, vendors, platform users, cybersecurity specialists, logisticians, testers, and systems engineers in a fastpaced acquisition environment delivering critical national defense capabilities. The candidate must have strong experience with USAF systems engineering processes, avionics systems, training system development, and must be an effective communicator to support the SPO's mission.

This enables advanced weapon systems to be developed, tested, and fielded effectively so they can survive and operate in highly contested threat environments. You'll be a great fit for this role if: Self-motivated with a work ethic that the mission comes first Have good communications skills Detail oriented Passionate about supporting our warfighters Responsibilities: Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: Assist in conducting training system tradeoff and technology assessments for proposed designs and modifications, ensuring user operational training needs are accurately translated into system and subsystem training requirements used to design, develop, test, and evaluate training products and devices.

Assist in producing or reviewing trainingrelated technical products such as training system evaluations and plans, engineering studies supporting training system development, training requirements analyses, and acquisition strategies. Products may include training system specifications, RFPs, test plans, training device test procedures, acceptance test procedures (ATPs), and documentation necessary to support spectrum, cybersecurity, and training supportability determinations. Support project team meetings, working groups, and technical reviews associated with both training system development and weapon system integration, including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, TCM, TIM, FCA, PCA, PMR, and other reviews as applicable to training system development and fielding.

Assist in analyzing training systems, hardware, and software deficiencies; recommend corrective actions; and support development, integration, and testing of solutions to ensure training devices and materials remain aligned with system performance and operational employment. Support systems analysis activities related to avionics and subsystem training impacts, including feasibility assessments, stateoftheart evaluations, and development of trainingspecific system and subsystem specifications. Provide technical recommendations to ensure training system updates remain synchronized with hardware and software changes introduced into the platform.

Support and assist in evaluating training system performance effectiveness, cost effectiveness, lifecycle cost, producibility, maintainability, supportability, reliability, technical and schedule risks, and tradeoff studies that influence training system acquisition, fielding, and sustainment. Qualifications Required: Master's degree and 4+ years' project management experience, or bachelor's degree and 6+ years' project management experience, associate's degree and 8+ years' project management experience, or high school diploma (or GED) and 11+ years' project management experience.
