Camp counselors often face challenges such as managing large groups of children with diverse needs, addressing homesickness, and handling unexpected situations like minor injuries or disagreements. Effective communication, adaptability, and strong organizational skills are key to overcoming these challenges. Building rapport with campers, staying calm under pressure, and collaborating closely with other staff members help ensure a positive and safe camp environment.
