UNC Health Pediatrics at Apex is hiring a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (PNP/PA)!

At UNC Health Pediatrics at Apex, the focus is taking care of kids from birth to 18 years of age. Located conveniently at Kelly Road and Olive Chapel Road near Publix and Olive Chapel Elementary School, they offer after-school appointments. Providers collaborate with parents to provide the highest level of personalized care to meet the needs of the family. The team is dedicated to treating the whole child. Compassionate, child-centered care is the mission.

Services:

  • Well-child checks
  • Immunizations
  • Sports/school/camp physicals
  • Hearing, vision, and developmental screenings
  • Same-day sick care
  • Management of chronic health conditions including asthma, allergies, diabetes, and obesity
  • Behavioral consultations including evaluation and treatment of ADHD

Practice Hours:

Monday โ€“ Friday 8:00am โ€“ 5:00pm

Requirements:

  • Pediatric APP
  • Licensed in North Carolina
  • 2-plus years of experience required

  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina.
  • Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

  • Demonstrated clinical competency.
