ID: 63931880 Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Description: Mother Baby RN3x12 DAYS 7a-7p, weekdays, every other weekendUnit Description: The Mother/Baby floor is a 21 private room unit. We care for postpartum moms, stable antepartum, and well or slightly ill newborns. The nurses are trained to work the floor and in the NBN. In the NBN, we manage mild RDS, newborn hypoglycemia, cardiac monitoring, phototherapy, IV antibiotics as well as managing NAS babies going through withdrawal. We deliver approximately 2800 patients a year. The Mother/Baby unit also services the breast-feeding families that may require additional help while in the hospital and post discharge. We have two full time certified lactation specialist on staff.
