Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Profession: Nursing

Specialty: Operating Room

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day

Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours

Experience: Minimum 2 years

License: Active nursing license required

Certifications: BLS, CST National certificate required

Must-Have: Previous experience circulating in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures. Critical thinking and customer service skills.

Description: Start date: 08/03/2026. Number of beds: 17 operating rooms. Unit staffing description includes surgery board runner. Type of equipment includes electrosurgical devices, Neptune suction, and patient positioning devices. Documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requirements are 7 AM to 3 PM or 7 AM to 5 PM. Floating policy is not applicable. Advanced skills are required for procedures performed on this unit including total joints, spine fusions, neurosurgical procedures (including craniotomies), robotic procedures, general surgical procedures, urology, and cardiovascular procedures (including open heart). Neurosurgical and general/robotic experience is preferred but not required. The unit features the Synaptive Medical Modus V robotic digital microscope for neurosurgical procedures, which is the only system in the region.
