RN position in a 34-bed adult surgical unit. The role involves standard RPN III duties/skills, with a focus on surgical pre/postoperative care using equipment such as vital signs machines, IV & PCA pumps, WOWS/EMR charting, and Pyxis.

Responsibilities:

  • Standard RPN III duties in surgical care
  • Proficient in surgical pre/postoperative nursing
  • Floating to other units if necessary
  • Maintaining a nurse to patient ratio of 1 RN to 5-6 patients

Requirements:

  • Active State of HI license by start of assignment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in RPN III role
  • Strong experience in abdominal surgeries and post-op care
