Position Summary

Client Account Manager Level I or II works as part of our Small‑Medium Business (SMB) Sales team to retain and grow our existing customer base. I/II act as a business partner to existing customers, driving increased sales and revenue by demonstrating the value of our products and services. This role introduces ACS end‑to‑end technology solutions to enable customers to solve current and future business needs.

Essential Functions
  • Meets or exceeds sales goals by assessing customer needs, strategically identifying ACS solutions, and closing sales.
  • Conducts face‑to‑face visits to develop relationships and expand revenue sources; spends at least 60% of the week off‑site with customers.
  • Performs account reviews to ensure contracts and account information are up to date while prospecting for additional sales opportunities.
  • Prepares sales documentation, activity reports, and forecasts.
  • Receives and follows up on sales leads from the customer call center and website through to closing.
  • Maintains ongoing relationships with accounts to ensure positive experiences and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Takes initiative to improve processes that enhance customer satisfaction and increase profit.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and completes special projects.
Minimum Qualifications

Education

Experience
  • Two (2) years in a quota‑carrying sales environment selling products/services to small and medium business customers.
  • Alternate experience and education may substitute on a year‑for‑year basis.
  • Preferred: One (1) year of telecommunications or information technology experience.
Computer Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Additional Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license required.
