Job description

Lead the Way as a Center Director at Code Ninjas Alexandria, VA!

Are you passionate about technology, education, and making a difference in kids' lives? Do you dream of owning your own business someday? If so, Code Ninjas Alexandria, VA, has an exciting opportunity for you! We're on the hunt for an energetic and driven Center Director to lead our innovative learning center, with a clear pathway to ownership.

Who We Are

At Code Ninjas Alexandria, VA, we’re on a mission to transform how kids learn and grow. Through our game-based curriculum, we teach kids to code in a fun, safe, and inspiring environment. But it’s about more than just coding – it’s about empowering kids to think critically, solve problems, and collaborate effectively.

Our students, or "Ninjas," work with our talented instructors, known as "Senseis," to create games, tackle challenges, and develop skills that will last a lifetime. Since opening in 2019, we’ve become a hub for kids in the Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax communities, fostering creativity and confidence in a space they call their second home.

What Makes This Opportunity Unique?

This isn’t just a job – it’s a chance to build something extraordinary. As the Center Director, you’ll not only lead our center and its dynamic team, but you’ll also have the opportunity to transition into full ownership of the business. With a full training and probationary period, we’ll prepare you to take the reins and make this center your own.

What You’ll Do

As the Center Director, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our cutting-edge learning center, ensuring it’s a place where kids thrive and parents feel confident. Here’s a snapshot of your key responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing
  • Engage with prospective families: follow up on leads, conduct tours, and manage enrollments.
  • Drive new business development and partnerships.
  • Manage our social media presence to promote the center’s mission and programs.
Customer Service
  • Build strong, positive relationships with kids and parents.
  • Proactively ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Address and resolve customer service concerns with professionalism.
Operations
  • Oversee facility management and vendor relations.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and lead a team of high-school and college-age Senseis.
  • Manage curriculum programs and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a leader who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and make a lasting impact. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, operations, and customer service.
  • Proven success in leadership roles, preferably in education management.
  • Strong communication skills across phone, presentations, and social media.
  • Business-minded approach with a focus on achieving goals and maximizing resources.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and cloud-based tools.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
Desired Characteristics
  • Sales-driven and results-oriented.
  • Inspiring, energetic, and adaptable.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
  • A “get-it-done” mentality with a passion for excellence.
Not Required
  • Not a teaching position, coding experience is not necessary – your team of Senseis will handle the technical side!
Why You’ll Love Working With Us

At Code Ninjas Alexandria, we’re more than just a workplace – we’re a community. Here’s what you can look forward to: - A pathway to ownership: Take charge of your future by building and eventually owning the center. - A positive and engaging culture: Work with a team that’s passionate about kids, technology, and education. - Impact your community: Help shape the future of kids in Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax. - Comprehensive benefits: Enjoy a negotiable base salary, uncapped sales incentive bonuses, paid holidays, vacation, sick time, health insurance, 401K, and more.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time role, requiring approximately 40-45 hours per week. General hours include: - Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM - Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM - Sunday: 11:30 AM – 5:00 PM
You’ll also have the support of a part-time Assistant Center Director to help manage the workload.

Ready to Join Us?

If you’re ready to inspire the next generation of coders and take the next step toward business ownership, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today and start your journey with Code Ninjas Alexandria, VA. Together, we’ll make learning fun, impactful, and unforgettable.
