Our line cooks apply their skills to follow recipes and cooking instructions to prepare high quality, consistent, well-presented, and delicious dishes to our customers.

  • Line Cooks prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, grills, fryers, steamers, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Line Cooks follow recipe specifications to cook, prepare all food items for service, and portion food products according to standard portion sizes and plating guidelines.

Required skills and qualifications to be a Line Cook with Mad Mex Robinson:

  • 2 years of experience in food preparation and cooking
  • Able to follow written recipes and supervisor instructions
  • Basic knife skills for chopping, slicing, dicing, etc.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others

Physical requirements for Line Cook with Mad Mex Robinson:

  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds
