Job Title: Substance Abuse Counselor

Location: Frederick Institute, Frederick, Maryland

Certifications Required: ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD

Frederick Institute is an Opioid Treatment Program seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addictions Counselor to join our team. Our clinic is committed to providing high-quality care and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a critical role in helping our patients achieve long-term recovery and wellness.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications:

  • Certification as an ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
