Job description

CABVI is hiring a Material Handler I in our Utica facility. This position is responsible for the Movement of product from one location to another. Delivery of raw materials used for production and palletizing and shrink-wrapping of finished product. May use the following equipment: flat carts, hand trucks, pallet jack, shrink-wrap machine & Little David auto sealer.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure production employees have ample raw materials to work. Provide additional work material as needed.
  • Assist in production reporting to supervisor. Accurately record raw and finished product.
  • Locate product on racking.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work area.
  • Keep workplace safe.

Requirements Include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience on a manufacturing machine preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stack, fill and count products.
  • May use flat carts, hand trucks, pallet jack, shrink-wrap machine and Little David auto sealer.
