Job description

**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a Pet Care Lead to provide high-quality care and attention to pets in our facility, focusing on their health, safety, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with people and animals, have a positive can-do approach, and possess excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a pet care leadership role working cooperatively with a team is required. Additional training in pet care, behavior, and customer service will be provided to ensure the best care for our guests.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Monitor the health and well-being of pets, noting and reporting any concerns promptly.
2. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in pet enclosures and play areas to create a safe and comfortable environment.
3. Supervise individual and group play sessions to ensure a balance of safety and enjoyment for all pets.
4. Safely handle and guide pets throughout the facility using proper techniques and care.
**Qualifications:**
1. Prior experience in pet care lead role required.
2. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical tasks, and work indoors and outdoors.
3. Capable of lifting and handling pets of various sizes and species.
4. Willingness to engage in cleaning tasks as per company standards.
5. Certification in pet first aid and CPR is beneficial.
**Work Schedule:**
Our Pet Care Leads work a 10-hour shift within the operating hours of 5:30 am to 8:00 pm, seven days a week. Typically, shifts fall within the following timeframes:
- 5:30 am to 4:30 pm
- 6:00 am to 5:00 pm
- 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
- 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
