Cabana Supervisor
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Cabana Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of cabana services, ensuring guest satisfaction, and focusing on areas like guest service, cleanliness, revenue, and equipment maintenance.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs for all beverage outlets within the Resort.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the venue's recipes, portioning, and serving standards.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ensure a smooth day-to-day operation of all cabana products, VIP services, bungalows, daybeds, and beach loungers.
  • Assist Beverage Manager to develop, coach, and train new staff and existing staff in all areas of professional development.

What We're Looking For
  • State and Local laws may require a certificate of alcohol awareness/safety classes and food handling certifications
  • A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
  • 3 years extensive experience in bar, restaurant, kitchen, hotel, resort management preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be comfortable working in hot outdoor weather and around water.
  • This position requires various work hours and days based on business needs. It regularly requires evening and weekend work.
