Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must be able to fulfill all functions and duties of the rentals department, including Sales and Service
  • Assign duties to cabana host, cabana servers and cabana cooks
  • Conduct pre and post shift meetings
  • Review daily time sheets
  • Conduct department orientation trainings and in-service training sessions and weekly safety topic trainings
  • Provide coaching to team members amp; ongoing training
  • Issue disciplinary action according to park policies and procedures as needed
  • Walk through all Rentals prior to park opening to ensure cleanliness and availability of all Rentals
  • Oversee the kitchen to ensure food is prepared and expedited in a timely manner
  • Supervise guest experience by checking in with rental reservations throughout the day, ensuring excellent customer service is provided by team members
  • Ensure Park policies and procedures are being followed by team members
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other team members
  • Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
  • Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
  • Follow Park policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience in department or equivalent supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to accept guidance and supervision
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members and leadership
  • Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
  • Energy and enthusiasm for long days
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 60 pounds, team lift for heavier objects
