Role Summary

As a Senior Investment Counselor, II you are responsible for sales, revenue generation and client relationship management for larger and more complex accounts. This includes creating, monitoring, and revising lead generation plans for the development of new revenue pipelines. The role will also have the critical duty of identifying account growth opportunities based on client goals that may cross multiple business unit services and/or offerings. Your success is measured by the quality of your client relationships and your overall sales results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive oneonone consultations to highnetworth retirement plan participants, serving as a trusted consultant and tailoring guidance to their goals, sensitivities, and financial circumstances.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each participant's financial situation and deliver indepth education on retirement income strategies, asset allocation, tax considerations, estate planning concepts, and the transition into retirement.
  • Navigate advanced retirement and investment considerations for participants with complex balance levels (typically $350k+), helping them make informed, confident decisions.
  • Drive asset retention and acquisition by supporting stayinplan outcomes, rollover retention, and account consolidation through ongoing, personalized conversations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Individual Investors organization to ensure seamless handoffs for participants whose needs extend beyond Workplace Investors, including broader planning and advisory support.
  • Identify eligible participants for the firm's managed Retirement Advisory Service (RAS) and facilitate advisor referrals through established workflows and eligibility cues.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 5+ years of total relevant work experience
  • Series 7 and 66
  • CRPC *Must be obtained within designated window per Global Distribution licensing policy if not already obtained

Preferred:

  • CRPC
  • 10+ years of total relevant work experience

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home, after the successful completion of a training program.
