M&S Wealth Management's fast paced and entrepreneurial energy provides a stimulating environment to service high-net worth individuals and families. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated self-starter to work alongside our Managing Director of Wealth Management working closely with clients to provide comprehensive financial analysis and sound financial planning that aligns with their financial goals. Comfort with financial planning software and custodial platforms, as well as adaptability to learn new technology, is essential.
This opportunity requires high-level interpersonal skills in tandem with strong analytical skills. The primary focus of our Senior Wealth Management Advisor is continuous support of our clients and their individual financial planning strategies through timely responses and strong communication skills. This individual will work effectively both independently as well as collaborating within a team. Successful execution of responsibilities will necessitate keen attention to detail, investment knowledge base, and clear communication skills with a polished and friendly demeanor.
In this role, you will:
  • Attend meetings with existing clients as well as prospects.
  • Educate clients on financial concepts and investment options to help them make informed decisions.
  • Engage with existing clients to address their financial planning goals through building trust and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Creation and presentation of comprehensive financial analyses and plans which demonstrate a strong understanding of each client's needs.
  • Stay current on trends in the economy, financial markets, and regulatory changes to ensure consistency in appropriate client recommendations.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of proven client facing experience with an RIA or similar firm required.
  • Experience with Tamarac and Envestnet and knowledge of Schwab and Fidelity custodial platforms a plus.
  • Series 65 licensure.
  • CFP certification or eligibility with CPA or SFA background welcomed.
  • Financial planning software knowledge such as MoneyGuidePro®.
  • High-level client service skills and ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Acts with integrity and uses care with confidential information.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus!
