Job description

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer, CREO, vacuum design

Location: Milpitas, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 9+ Months Contract

Job Summary

  • Very Good experience in onsite-offshore coordination
  • Managing large assemblies and system layout using reference geometry
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, sheet metal forming & operations
  • Vacuum system design
  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs using 3D modeling software packages (ProE/Creo, etc.)
  • Proficient in 3D solid modeling using CAD, preferably ProE/Creo
  • Understanding of materials and fabrication techniques for vacuum systems
  • Be able to work in a multi-discipline and multi-culture global organization.
  • Be flexible and adaptive to adjust project focus based on priority changes.
  • Excellent writing skills and verbal communication
  • Good knowledge of Engineering Materials in the design environment.
  • Experience in reverse engineering can be an added advantage.
  • SEMI (S2, S8) standards/Semiconductor domain experience added advantage.

Tool Requirements: 

  • CAD Tools: Creo (Working experience), AutoCAD. 
  • PLM/PDM Tools: Enovia, Windchill. 
  • Microsoft Tools: Knowledge in Visio, Publisher, and other MS Office tools.
