CCTV access control systems are integrated security solutions that combine closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance with electronic access control technology. These systems allow organizations to monitor and control entry to buildings or specific areas while recording video footage of entry and exit points. By linking cameras to access points such as doors or gates, security personnel can verify the identity of individuals and respond to unauthorized access attempts in real time. This integration enhances security, helps prevent unauthorized access, and provides valuable evidence in case of incidents.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a CCTV access control technician?
