Job description

MTSI is seeking to hire a C2 engineer to support MDA/AC. The qualified candidate will works with a diverse group of engineers and acquisition managers developing and incorporating over-the-horizon radar systems into the Missile Defense System (MDS). ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with internal and external customers to develop requirements for over-the-horizon radar data delivery and sensor management.

Work with the MDA/BC organization to design, develop, and establish sensor connection to MDA's C2BMC laboratory enterprise system. Establish and maintain C2 connection between MDA's transportable experimental radar transmitter and receiver sites. Work with external organizations to establish C2 connections between MDA's transportable experimental radar and hardware-in-the-loop simulators Work with MDA/IC for various IT infrastructure projects Design and implement high level networks at remote customer and government sites QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance required to perform job duties Ability to travel as required Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related field Network+ certification Minimum 5 years' experience working with C2 systems Ability to develop C2 requirements and specifications Ability to design C2 data and sensor management message formats Possess strong understanding of C2 network physical and information layers.

Experience with various types of C2 networks including satellite communications, radio and wireless links, and long-haul internet. Experience with various network protocols such as Ethernet, UDP, multi-cast, etc. Ability to coordinate C2 network establishment with external organizations Understanding of Cross-Domain Solutions and security requirements at various levels of classification Understanding of the physical/CYBER security requirements for networks Knowledge of MDA's C2BMC system and the MDA/BC organization and acquisition process highly desired.

Ability to work with MDA/BC and external C2 organizations. Ability to work with a diverse group of engineers and acquisition managers. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Information Technology Systems (MSITM) or related field desired 7 years of experience working with C2 systems desired CISSP desired #LI-JJ1.
