The client you will be working for is a Fortune 100 Oil and Gas Company. This opportunity will give you experience in the energy sector in the United States with a company that is a globally recognized leader in energy production and one of the biggest companies in the US.

LOCATION
Houston, TX 77002

COMPENSATION
$30-37 per hour

SCHEDULE
Onsite, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

CONTRACT TERM
4 month contract with high likelihood of extension

POSITION OVERVIEW – This Executive Administrative Assistant/Receptionist role supports the C-Suite, managing floor operations, visitor access, and conference room activity while providing relief coverage and administrative support to the President's of company and President's desks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage conference room bookings and floor activities.
  • Control access to the secured floor and oversee the visitor management system.
  • Operate in accordance with enhanced security protocols on the 49th floor.
  • Maintain executive areas, including the refrigerator and conference rooms.
  • Handle mailings and enter floor maintenance requests.
  • Maintain the Level 49 floor plan.
  • Provide support to 49th-floor assistants as needed, with priority given to relief coverage for the Upstream President and DM&C President desks.
  • Manage the 49th-floor distribution list.
  • Assist with high-level events and meetings on the 49th floor, including catering.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for conference room AV equipment.
  • Liaise with catering and maintenance vendors for events and repairs.
  • Assist during emergency drills or incidents per building safety protocols.
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
  • 8-10 years of receptionist or administrative experience, including 8+ years at the executive level.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and visitor management systems.
  • Willingness to be trained on and use Copilot (AI tool).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Professional demeanor and polished appearance.
  • Customer service orientation and ability to prioritize requests under pressure.
  • Flexibility to support multiple executives and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred:
  • Experience in C-Suite support within the Oil and Gas industry, at a large company.
  • Confidence using AI/Copilot tools.
  • Top-level executive communication and leadership skills.
