Shipside Operations Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Shipside Operations Specialist - Manufacturing Representative to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, AL.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate or Mid-Level Shipside Operations Specialist - Manufacturing Representatives.

We're looking for skilled professionals who are passionate about precision and innovation to help produce Boeing's Patriot Advanced Capability Seeker team - an integral part of the world's most advanced air defense system. Recently, the PAC-3 team was honored as the 2025 "Coolest Thing Made in Alabama:" in the statewide Manufacturing Madness competition.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria

  • Provides limited feedback on assessment results

  • Supports the teammates in implementation of strategies and plans

  • Works under general supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing or operations environment

  • 1+ years' experience collecting and analyzing data and generating metrics reports

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint

  • Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experienceor an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci)

  • Experience working with staff at all levels, comfortable with conducting presentations and running meetings

  • Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military

  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

  • Experience using Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)

  • An Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Conflict of Interest:

Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Shift:

This position supports C shift (Friday-Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm)

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
