Aftermarket Parts Buyer

Location Flower Mound, TX | Onsite


Compensation & Schedule

• $30–$35 per hour

• Full-time, standard business hours


Role Impact

The Aftermarket Parts Buyer ensures cost-effective, high-quality, and timely procurement of aftermarket parts to support business operations and customer demand. This role drives supplier performance, cost savings, and inventory optimization while maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships. Success is defined by improved supplier consolidation, on-time delivery, competitive pricing, and sustained product availability.

• Procure aftermarket parts, components, and materials to meet cost, quality, and availability objectives

• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and pricing strategies to support cost reduction and on-time delivery goals

• Analyze material issues, inventory levels, and quality concerns; recommend corrective actions and sourcing strategies

• Interface with engineering, finance, quality, and marketing to interpret blueprints, sketches, requisitions, and technical documentation

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify domestic and international suppliers; issue and review RFQs (Request for Quotation)


Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience with direct responsibility for buying aftermarket parts

• Experience negotiating with suppliers and performing price analysis

• Proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)


Equipment & Work Environment

• Office-based environment in Flower Mound, TX

• Frequent computer use and data entry within ERP systems

• Collaboration across cross-functional departments

• Periodic business travel to supplier locations

• Onsite position; no remote work available


Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
