Beehive Industries is dedicated to Powering American Defense by revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of jet propulsion systems to support the warfighter. Through the integration of additive manufacturing, the company aims to meet the growing and urgent needs for unmanned aerial defense by dramatically improving a jet engine’s speed to market, fuel efficiency, and cost.

Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Loveland, Ohio facility.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to provide support for day-to-day procurement operations. This role will focus on transactional purchasing activities to ensure delivery execution, accurate system updates, and clear communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Do…
  • Request and evaluate supplier quotes based on specifications and demand requirements
  • Create and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies
  • Monitor order confirmations and track delivery schedules
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time shipments and resolve delays
  • Expedite materials from suppliers and within the Beehive network
  • Update ERP/procurement systems with confirmed delivery dates and order status changes
  • Communicate incoming shipment details and schedule updates to receiving and warehouse teams
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
You have…
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations
  • Experience working with ERP or procurement systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S.Citizenship is required, as only U.S.Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
