Montauk Renewables, Inc. (NASDAQ: MNTK) is a renewable energy company specializing in the management, recovery, and conversion of biogas into RNG. The Company captures methane, preventing it from being released into the atmosphere, and converts it into either RNG or electrical power for the electrical grid ("Renewable Electricity"). The Company, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has more than 30 years of experience in the development, operation, and management of landfill methane-fueled renewable energy projects. The Company has current operations at 15 operating projects located in California, Idaho, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Texas. The Company sells RNG and Renewable Electricity, taking advantage of Environmental Attribute premiums available under federal and state policies that incentivize their use.

Job Summary:

At Montauk, we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive our business forward. The accounts payable (AP) department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers. We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The AP Associate will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.

Job Responsibilities:

Correspond with site managers concerning PO receipting and invoice approvals.

preparing invoices, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.

Reviews vouchers for proper field approval.

Assist AP Manager with weekly check run.

Assist with set up of new vendors.

Filing of paid invoices.

Assist with internal and external audit requests.

Special project requests from Accounting Department.

Maintain relationships with vendors.

Review statements and resolve/request copies of invoices.

Occasionally Enter vouchers into Microsoft Dynamics.

Education Requirements:

Previous accounts payable experience preferred
