Primary Purpose:
Coordinate and supervise the activities of the electricians to provide school facilities in a condition of operating excellence, appearance, and safety, so that full educational use of the facilities can be obtained.
Responsible for following electrical codes and buildings electrical repairs, and ensure work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures. Perform work along with employees as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to organize, coordinate, and supervise work of skilled personnel.
Management, communications, and leadership skills.
Considerable knowledge of the standard methods, principles, practices, tools and equipment of the electrical trades.
Skill in applying electrical maintenance principles, practices and techniques.
Ability to monitor and evaluate programs and organizational performance in order to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum of a state electrician journeyman license through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation required. Valid Texas Driver's License.
Experience:
Five years in related management position overseeing electrical work.
Salary: AP PG2/240 days
Starting: $62,246
