Why do we need you?

We're looking for a skilled, passionate Line Cook to join our AM/PM kitchen crew. You'll be the backbone of our food & beverage operation - preparing everything from scratch with pride, executing recipes with precision, and contributing to a dining experience our guests will remember.


What you will do:

  • Read menus to estimate food requirements, order food from suppliers, or procure items from storage.
  • Adjust thermostat controls to regulate temperatures of ovens, boilers, grills, roasters, and steam kettles.
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes using a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment such as blenders, grinders, slicers, and tenderizers to prepare soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, and casseroles.
  • Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
  • Add seasonings to food during mixing or cooking according to personal judgment and experience.
  • Observe and test foods while cooking by tasting, smelling, and checking texture or doneness to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Carve meats, portion food onto serving plates, and add gravies, sauces, and garnishes according to order requirements.
  • Return all unused food items to designated storage areas at the end of each shift, ensuring all perishables are properly covered, labeled, and dated.
  • Supervise other cooks and kitchen employees when assigned.
  • Wash, peel, cut, and shred vegetables and fruits for food preparation.
  • Butcher chickens, fish, and shellfish as needed.
  • Prepare bread, rolls, cakes, and pastries when required.
  • Assist with menu pricing and food cost control when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance by wearing the required uniform and name identification badge while on property.
  • Support and adhere to the company's core values, mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and abilities you bring:

  • Understand simple instructions.
  • Learn simple procedures and techniques.
  • Perform routine work or the same task repeatedly.
  • Use hands to lift, carry or pull objects that may be heavy.
  • Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.
  • Previous experience is a plus.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.

Schedule & Hours:

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
