We're seeking an experienced Transformation Project Manager with deep expertise in lean methodologies to drive waste elimination and operational excellence across our organization. In this specialized role, you'll report to the Chief Transformation Officer and serve as a lean practitioner, applying lean principles throughout all business functions to support our lean initiatives.

This role combines hands-on lean expertise with project management capabilities, requiring someone who can both conduct detailed value-stream mapping exercises and manage strategic projects through completion. You'll be instrumental in building our lean culture, eliminating waste, and driving measurable improvements in revenue per employee and operational efficiency.

Lean Expertise & Application
  • Apply lean expertise and methodologies throughout all business functions to identify and eliminate waste (muda), streamline processes, and optimize operational efficiency
  • Conduct in-depth value-stream mapping exercises across departments to visualize current state, identify bottlenecks and waste, and design future state processes
  • Support Kaizen events, workshops, and rapid improvement activities to drive continuous improvement at the team and process level
  • Leverage lean tools including standard work, visual management, root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone), and PDCA cycles to solve operational challenges
  • Measure and track waste elimination impact in terms of revenue per employee, cycle time reduction, quality improvements, and other key operational metrics
  • Partner with functional leaders to embed lean thinking into daily operations and decision-making processes
Lean Culture Development
  • Facilitate lean culture adoption across the organization by modeling lean behaviors and demonstrating the value of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with the Executive C-Suite, key subject matter experts, and external lean consultancy firm to design and deliver lean improvements
  • Conduct "train the trainer" sessions to build internal lean capability and expand the network of lean practitioners
  • Track lean adoption metrics including eNPS (employee Net Promoter Score) related to lean practices and transformation initiatives
  • Build a repository of lean tools, templates, and best practices that teams can readily access and apply
  • Support the transformation team in documenting case studies and success stories that showcase the impact of lean initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Strategic Program Managers to ensure consistent application of lean principles across all annual improvement priorities
  • Partner with Business Unit Chiefs of Staff and functional operational leads to identify lean improvement opportunities
  • Lead through influence across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other functions to drive lean adoption
  • Serve as a lean subject matter expert, providing guidance on methodology application and tool selection
Change Management Support
  • Support change management activities for lean transformation initiatives, including stakeholder engagement and resistance management
  • Communicate the why; behind lean initiatives to build understanding and buy-in at all organizational levels
  • Facilitate retrospectives and lessons learned sessions to capture insights and drive continuous improvement in transformation approaches
  • Partner with functional leaders to ensure sustained adoption of lean practices and embed continuous improvement into team routines
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience applying lean methodologies in operational or transformation roles
  • Deep expertise in lean tools and techniques including value-stream mapping, Kaizen, visual management, and problem-solving
  • Proven track record conducting value-stream mapping exercises and driving measurable waste elimination results
  • 3-7 years of project management experience, including leading cross-functional initiatives in software companies
  • Strong facilitation skills with ability to lead workshops, Kaizen events, and executive-level meetings
  • Experience training others on lean methodologies and building organizational lean capability
  • Analytical mindset with ability to measure impact in terms of revenue per employee, cycle time, quality, and other operational metrics
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in program management tools, such as Smartsheet

Preferred

  • Lean certification (Bronze or higher) or Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow Belt or higher)
  • Experience in technology companies undergoing significant transformation
  • Background working with lean consultancies or as an internal lean champion
  • Understanding of SaaS business models, metrics (ARR, NRR), AI transformation, and go-to-market strategies

The salary range in United States of America for this position is 88,000.00 to 111,000.00 USD Annual.

Your specific offer within this range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for a bonus. For sales roles, this range includes a commission target.
