THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Business Process Analyst to help drive operational excellence across Lakeshirts by improving business processes, supporting strategic initiatives, and partnering with teams to solve operational challenges. This role is a key Continuous Improvement resource focused on administrative, customer-facing, and cross-functional business processes. Working with Customer Service, Sales, Production, Art, Quality, Compliance, AI, Development, IT, and department leadership, you will identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, standardize processes, document requirements, and support successful project implementation. If you enjoy understanding how work gets done, solving problems, facilitating change, and making practical improvements, we would love to meet you.
PAY + SCHEDULE
Pay: $65,000-$75,000 Based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 45+ hours per week. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with preferred onsite attendance three days per week in Detroit Lakes, MN. Little Falls, MN or Longmont, CO may also be considered based on business needs.

A TYPICAL DAY
  • Facilitate process discovery sessions to understand workflows, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Create and maintain process maps, workflow documentation, SOPs, and business procedures.
  • Gather, document, and validate requirements for technology, automation, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for standardization.
  • Support project intake, prioritization, scoping, planning, and implementation activities.
  • Analyze business processes and data to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and efficiency gains.
  • Coordinate with AI, Development, IT, Compliance, Quality, and operational teams to support solution design, stakeholder meetings, change management, training, and adoption.

SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Analytics, MIS, Continuous Improvement, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent education and relevant business process improvement experience will be considered.
  • Two to five years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, project coordination, or operational excellence preferred.
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, requirements gathering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, formulas, pivot tables, and business process analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneNote.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to support productivity, documentation, analysis, and process improvement.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and AI-enabled business solutions while working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
