We're growing and our IT department is looking for a creative and talented Business Systems Analyst to join the team.

You are our ideal candidate if you have strong analytical skills, great abilities to develop solid relationships with business and technical stakeholders, as well as the ability to balance business requirements with technical feasibility and sustainability. But first, a little about us.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will partner with a team of developers to plan, design, configure, test, launch and integrate efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions. You will identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.  Finally, the individual will recommend and maintain an applications roadmap, identifying areas of system gaps and redundancy, recommending timelines for the evolution of the associated business systems.

What you'll do

    • Interact with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure design, integration and quality expectations are met / exceeded.
    • Contribute to estimating work effort, project sizing, and backlog breakdown into manageable stories.
    • Develop strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
    • Balance business requirements with technical feasibility and sustainability.
    • Analyze Tecsys' business requirements objectives and aid functional teams in configuring business systems and processes to meet the internal customers' business needs.
    • Create system design/configuration proposals.
    • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems
    • Work as an integral part of the applications team - coordinating activities with our Manager, Global IT Operations & Security - Project Delivery and working effectively with colleagues of all levels.
    • Actively participate in the definition of migration paths for legacy systems integrations and ensure the compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.

Requirements

Qualifications
    • 8+ years of business analysis experience with at least 3 years in IT-focused projects. 
    • Demonstrated experience in enterprise software, systems integration, data migration, or cloud transformation projects. 
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Experience examining business processes and systems, modeling data, organizing activities, and developing business process strategies.
    • Proven Business Analyst experience with large-scale ERP applications.
    • Strong communication skills. This position requires the candidate to be able to seamlessly and precisely communicate with technical teams, project managers as well as senior business leadership - written and verbally.
    • Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and detail oriented.
    • Proficient in collaborative group development, and team player.
    • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (master's preferred). 
What else could give you an advantage when applying?
  •  Understanding of accounting principles and financial applications
  • Agile development experience is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Integration patterns and API Gateways

     SAAS Revenue Management Knowledge

    • Understanding of subscription models, recurring revenue, usage-based billing.
CPQ Experience
    • Hands-on with Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, SAP CPQ, or WorkRails.
    • Workflow: product configuration pricing rules approvals quote generation.
    • Knowledge of approval workflows, quote-to-cash process, and integration with CRM/ERP.
Integration Understanding
    • Knows how CPQ connects to CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics) and ERP/Finance systems (NetSuite, SAP, Elite, etc.).
    • Exposure to RevOps ecosystems (HubSpot, ServiceNow, Seismic, Projector PSA, etc.) is a plus.
    •  Certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA certification, ITIL, or Scrum Master.
