Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Business Analyst to join our Global Development - SCRIP team within our Computershare Technology Services (CTS) group. CTS is responsible for providing global technology and infrastructure support for existing Computershare proprietary software together with a full range of development services for new products. We underpin Computershare's total service package through creative technology applications that are deployed at all stages of the financial market cycle.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a product-focused, cross-functional global delivery team where you will build open and trusted relationships with your team and stakeholders.

A role you will love

In this role you will understand the needs of Computershare's business and technology stakeholders. You'll also define the changes required to deliver solutions that address these needs. You will also lead and facilitate structured workshops with stakeholders and end users to identify and prioritize requirements.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with internal stakeholders across business units to gather requirements, understand pain points, communicate updates, and translate business needs into actionable insights for the development team.

  • Use agile practices to stay responsive to business needs and to deliver value incrementally

  • Write high-quality, clear User Stories and Acceptance Criteria to form a well-organized Product Backlog that is prioritized according to business objectives

  • Contribute to the Analyst community, embracing change and sharing knowledge with a network of stakeholders

  • Assist in the development of BA team competency
     

What will you bring to the role?

  • 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in an Agile software development environment

  • Experience liaising with stakeholders to elicit requirements, use of system design concepts, propose solutions and translate these for other members of the development team

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relay information with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
