Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned ERP professional with expertise in Acumatica ERP to join our team as a Senior Manager, IT Business Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP systems, excellent technical and business acumen, and exceptional communication and project management skills. As the primary owner of Acumatica ERP for internal usage, the ERP Manager will lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the system, ensuring seamless integration with our business operations. Additionally, the ERP Manager will be responsible for providing delivery support to internal stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of the system. 

This role reports to the Director, IT Business Systems.

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Lead the implementation and ongoing support of cloud-based ERP systems (40%): 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define business requirements and configure the system to meet their needs. 
  • Develop and implement system workflows, reports, and dashboards to support business operations. 
  • Ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.

2. Configure and maintain internal ERP systems (25%): 

  • Configure and customize the system to meet business requirements. 
  • Develop and implement system security policies and procedures. 
  • Ensure data integrity and manage disaster recovery efforts.

3. Provide World-class support to internal stakeholders (20%) 

  • Respond to and resolve system issues and inquiries within our set internal SLAs. 
  • Develop and deliver training and documentation to support internal stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize system improvements.

4. Business Analysis (10%): 

  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Conduct requirements gathering and documentation to ensure accurate and complete understanding of business needs.
  • Develop and present business cases for system enhancements and new implementations. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and develop business cases for system enhancements.
  • Analyze and document business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and system configurations to support business needs. 
  • Ensure that business analysis activities are aligned with business objectives and priorities. 

5. Project Management (5%) 

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. 
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or relevant experience in a related field. 
  • Cloud-based ERP experience: 3+ years of experience with cloud-based ERP systems such as Acumatica, Netsuite, Salesforce or similar Platforms.
  • ERP implementation and support: Proven experience in implementing and supporting ERP systems, with a focus on delivery, support and customer satisfaction.
  • Technical skills: Proficient in cloud-based ERP system configuration, customization, and integration with other systems and applications. 
  • Business acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and processes, with the ability to analyze and improve system workflows and processes.
  • Communication and project management skills: Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management expertise, strong planning skills 

Preferred 

  • Certifications: ERP-related certifications, Acumatica Certified Business consultant, System Administrator, Application Developer, Netsuite Certified Professional or similar certification preferred. 
  • Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Cloud computing experience: Experience with cloud-based ERP systems and cloud computing platforms.
  • Integration with other systems: experience integrating cloud-based ERP with other systems and applications.
  • Customization and development: Experience with customizing and developing cloud-based ERP systems.
