The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Analyst, Business Finance. This job is full-time permanent.

Overview: Reporting to the Manager, FSS Systems Integration, the Financial Systems Analyst supports Financial Shared Services teams by ensuring business requirements are accurately reflected in systems and project implementations. This role acts as a key liaison between Finance and IT, providing functional expertise, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and supporting projects that impact Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales Accounting, and Rebates. The incumbent will develop a strong understanding of financial processes and systems to ensure effective testing, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

Your Challenges:

  • Support projects and system changes impacting Financial Shared Services functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales Accounting, and Rebates.Develop in-depth knowledge of finance processes and systems to effectively support business users.
  • Provide functional expertise and guidance for IT service tickets, system enhancements, and project initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to identify requirements and recommend system improvements.
  • Develop, document, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases to validate system functionality and business processes.
  • Coordinate and support UAT activities for projects and Requests for Change (RFCs) affecting Financial Shared Services and other finance teams.
  • Represent Financial Shared Services in system-related meetings and project discussions.
  • Help ensure business controls, processes, and system integrations function as expected.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in finance-related functions, preferably within shared services or a corporate finance environment.
  • Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system implementations, or business process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of complex business systems, project coordination, and process controls.
  • Ability to understand finance-related system modules and their integration with broader business processes.
  • Experience with SAP and/or JD Edwards (JDE) is considered an asset.
