Job Description

Role Summary

The PrIME Operations BPX serves as the site's system authority for the PrIME Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring reliable system performance, operational continuity, and continuous improvement of warehouse execution. This role operates at the intersection of technology and operations, translating business needs into system solutions that drive throughput, accuracy, and service outcomes.

As a technical and operational subject matter expert, the PrIME Operations BPX leads system governance, issue resolution, and change enablement while building site capability through coaching, training, and standardized processes. The role requires deep expertise across both front-end system usage and back-end functionality, paired with strong understanding of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities (Requirements):

System Ownership & Operational Excellence

  • Serve as the site SME for PrIME, providing guidance on system capabilities, constraints, and solution options aligned to operational strategy

  • Own system health by monitoring performance, ensuring data integrity, and proactively identifying risks or degradation

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues impacting operations (short- and long-term), minimizing business disruption

  • Maintain and execute the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for system outages and recovery scenarios

  • Identify recurring system and process gaps, and proactively partner with cross-functional stakeholders to implement and sustain improvements within site or network scope.

Configuration, Testing & Change Management

  • Own system configuration governance, including testing, validation, and controlled deployment of changes

  • Lead end-to-end testing for enhancements, security updates, and releases to ensure quality and compliance

  • Partner with central platform teams to submit, validate, and deploy change requests and enhancements

  • Emulate operational scenarios to validate system performance prior to rollout

Reporting & Data Insights

  • Own development and maintenance of standardized reporting and visualizations to enable data-driven decision-making

  • Translate business needs into reporting requirements using tools such as Power BI

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of operational data outputs

Capability Building & Site Enablement

  • Coach and train site teams on PrIME functionality, standard processes, and best practices

  • Provide ongoing support through office hours, troubleshooting, and targeted training sessions

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training documentation

  • Elevate overall site capability and adoption of system tools

Governance, Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure all system changes align with quality, safety, and internal control standards

  • Maintain system security through access controls, audits, and periodic refreshes

  • Follow escalation protocols and ensure issues are addressed at the appropriate level

  • Ensure adherence to standardized work processes and governance frameworks

Project & Continuous Improvement Leadership

  • Support and lead deployment of key initiatives and projects leveraging PrIME

  • Identify opportunities for loss elimination and process optimization, and drive implementation within area of influence to improve system reliability and operational outcomes.

  • Provide input into future system capabilities based on operational needs and business priorities

Job Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in PrIME WMS (advanced user/system owner level)

  • Strong operational knowledge of warehouse processes and flow

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical and operational issues

  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business language

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence across teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)

  • Working knowledge of SQL or similar data query languages

  • Experience in system implementation, testing, or change management environments

  • Familiarity with multiple WMS platforms or One Network ecosystem
