Job description

The Opportunity
Join the team that acts as the strategic engine for Hinge Health. In this role, you won't just analyze data; you will shape the future of musculoskeletal care by driving the company's most critical cross-functional initiatives. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and operational execution-transforming abstract ideas into scalable solutions that directly impact our 20+ million members. If you are a strategic operator who thrives on solving complex problems and navigating ambiguity to build the future of healthcare, this is the role for you.
Example project areas include:
  • New revenue / product strategies (e.g., business case modeling, market / competitor landscaping)
  • Piloting and taking new products to market (e.g., 0 to 1 product developing, scaling new product to full roll-out)
  • Business outcome management
  • Scaling and transforming operations
What You'll Accomplish
  • In your first 3 months: You will dive deep into our business performance metrics and current strategic initiatives. You will build trust with key stakeholders across Product, Commercial, and Clinical teams, and take ownership of a key workstream within an ongoing strategic project (e.g., a new market pilot or operational audit).
  • In your first 6 months: You will drive execution on major cross-functional initiatives, such as piloting a new product or scaling a new revenue strategy. You will establish robust dashboards to manage business performance KPIs and proactively identify areas for operational improvement.
  • In your first 12 months: You will own the strategy and operational roadmap for a significant business area. You will be a trusted advisor to leadership, delivering data-driven insights that inform our annual planning and long-term strategic direction.
Who You Are
  • A Systems Thinker: You don't just solve immediate problems; you build robust models and frameworks to prevent them from recurring. You can break down complex, ambiguous challenges into logical, actionable parts.
  • A "Learn-it-all": You bring a strong analytical mindset to every challenge. Whether it's conducting market research or modeling business cases, you relentlessly seek the truth in data to drive decision-making.
  • A Resilient Operator: You thrive in fast-paced environments. You can manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously-from discovery to execution-without losing sight of success criteria or timelines.
  • A Change Agent: You know that strategy is nothing without execution. You influence stakeholders effectively to drive change management and ensure alignment across diverse teams.
Basic Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in business strategy and modeling.
  • 4+ years of experience managing time-sensitive projects.
  • 3+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Consulting, Chief of Staff, Investment Banking, or BizOps.
  • Strong analytical skills (e.g., Excel, SQL) and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • 5+ years of Consulting, Chief of Staff, Investment Banking, or prior BizOps experience.
  • MBA or MPH.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
