Shimmick Construction is looking to hire anexperienced Operations Business Manager to support our growing company operations in the Pacific Northwest. This challenging position will provide excellent growth opportunity while helping to improve the region's civil infrastructure.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Supervises and directs the overall office management activities of an office or department.
  • Assigns and reviews office activities, circumvents and resolves problem areas, coordinates administrative workload leveling requirements, coordinates and performs project personnel administration activities, coordinates administrative functions and interfaces with clients, vendors, and the public.
  • Reviews and manages office invoices and budget.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • May direct the work of others.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the heavy civil construction industry.

Additional Information:
  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

The salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $145,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.
Shimmick's comprehensive benefits plan includes medical, dental and vision coverage; as well as options to participate in an FSA or HSA. The Company also provides employer paid STD, LTD, basic life and AD&D, and an Employee Assistance Program. Additional voluntary benefit offerings include pet insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness insurance, legal and identity theft protection.
These benefits are available to all employees working more than 20 hours per week. Employees working less than 20 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental and vision coverage as well as EAP services.
