Position Summary

The Office Assistant is the face of Bush Brothers and plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the business. This position provides administrative support across multiple departments, including Human Resources, Accounting, Kitchen Operations, and Office Administration while creating a welcoming experience for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, adaptable, and enjoys helping others while keeping the office running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Reception/ Administrative Support

•    Welcome visitors, customers, vendors, and applicants in a professional and friendly manner.

•    Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.

•    Receive deliveries and distribute mail.

•    Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office.

•    Prepare documents, reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.

•    Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and record management.

•    Maintain office supplies and coordinate equipment and vendor needs.

•    Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference rooms.

•    Assist in planning employee appreciation events, meetings, and celebrations.

•    Support company training sessions and internal events.

•    Help improve office organization, procedures, and administrative processes.

•    Provide administrative assistance to multiple departments as business needs evolve.

Human Resources Support

•    Assisting with Recruitment

•    Assist with new hire paperwork and onboarding preparation.

•    Support employee recognition programs, birthdays, anniversaries, and company events.

Accounting Support

•    Support accounting with administrative tasks as needed.

Kitchen 

•    Help coordinate employee breakfast and lunch programs.

•    Assist with menu planning, surveys, food deliveries, and kitchen communications.

Schedule

•    Monday–Friday

•    Approximately 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexible based on business needs)

Qualifications

Education

•    High school diploma or equivalent required.

•    Associate degree or coursework in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.

•    Previous experience in office administration, business administration, customer service, or a related administrative role
