Job description

Kalman & Company is seeking to hire an Integrated Logistics Specialist to work onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This experienced resource will provide essential logistics support services for Army C5ISR programs, initiatives, and goals, adhering to all relevant Army regulations and policies. This is a contingent position tied to a proposal effort. The salary offered will be commensurate with years of experience and qualifications held.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsibilities encompass support for a wide range of logistics documentation, participation in meetings and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and contributions to logistics and product support planning.
  • Prepare and review logistics documentation (e.g., Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Core Logistics Analysis) and will actively participate in logistics planning, contributing analysis and recommendations to resource planning and budgetary products.
  • Lead and manage logistics support activities for a large Army C5ISR program. Selected candidates will independently develop and review complex logistics documentation, provide expert technical advice during proposal evaluations, and lead the preparation for and response to logistics audits (Army Audit Agency, ASA, DA/G4, DoD IG).
  • They will formulate short and long-range logistics plans, analyze budgetary requirements, and proactively identify and recommend improvements to logistics processes and procedures.
  • They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with evolving policies, laws, and directives.

Minimum requirements:

  • US citizenship is required.
  • An Active Secret Clearance or higher is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Army logistics regulations and acquisition processes
  • Candidate shall have seven (7) years of experience in Integrated Logistics Support and System Life Cycle Support areas of DoD application. An additional four (4) years of direct relevant technical experience or relevant military service may be substituted for education.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field of study.


Preferred:

  • DAWIA Level 3 Certification Logistics (or equivalent) desired
