client-ITD is looking to hire a SQL/Power BI developer with 3 to 5 years of development experience. This role involves close collaboration with the data modernization teams at ITD and DPH to design, implement, and manage power BI dashboards and reports that align with their technical requirements and business objectives.
Skill Sets and experience includes:
  • Experience with Database Management Systems (DBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL - including proficiency in writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Must possess at least 3 to 5 years of experience working with any BI tools and BI systems, with familiarity in data science, business intelligence, and data analytics.
  • Should have knowledge and experience on the PowerBI Security and the approaches to be used when exposing dashboards to public.
  • Strong understanding of database design principles, data modeling, and normalization.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, or C# for application integration is a plus.
  • Should have experience in data integration, connecting to and importing data from various sources including data lakes, cloud platforms, and Excel files.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to work with stakeholders, collect requirements, and effectively present results.
