This position sits within the newly established Institute-wide integrated brand and marketing function. This team is a part of an evolving marketing and brand ecosystem designed to power institutional growth, strengthen market presence, and deliver consistent, high-value experiences across the buyer journey.

What You'll Do

The Data Analyst, Marketing Intelligence & Operations is an entry-level role on the Marketing team that supports data collection, analysis, and reporting to enable data-driven decisions. This position builds foundational analytics skills while contributing to marketing insights and performance tracking. Under the guidance of senior team members, the analyst helps maintain data quality, develop recurring and ad hoc reports, and supports data initiatives aligned with organizational goals. While this is aUS-basedremoteposition,local candidates within commuting distance to RTI's headquarters office (RTP, DC) are preferred for a hybrid work arrangement.

Your primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Data collection & preparation:
    • Collect, organize, validate, and prepare marketing and enterprise data from multiple sources to support accurate analysis and reporting.
  • Data analysis:
    • Perform basic analyses to identify trends and patterns in marketing and performance data; summarize findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Reporting & visualization:
    • Create and update dashboards, reports, and visualizations that track key metrics and communicate performance.
  • Performance tracking:
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support consistent, timely reporting.
  • Systems & tools:
    • Use CRM systems, marketing platforms, and data visualization tools to support reporting; perform basic system updates and data entry as needed.
    • Leverage AI-enabled analytics tools; support integration of AI-driven workflows; Ensure data quality and responsible AI-use
  • Data quality:
    • Identify data inconsistencies and support cleanup efforts to improve accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaboration:
    • Partner with team members and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and respond to analysis requests.
What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status, etc.)

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior professional experience (internships and/or work experience) in marketing and data analytics.
  • Experience with SQL or data querying tools.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Analytical skills with ability to collect, integrate, and analyze data from multiple systems
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel (e.g., formulas, data organization)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with CRM (salesforce), marketing automation, and analytics platforms
  • Interest in marketing data, analytics, and reporting
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment
