Program Business Manager

The required skill set for a PBM varies based on the supported office and mission, but successful candidates typically bring a combination of technical and programmatic experience. High-value backgrounds include previous SETA experience, prior experience as a program or project manager, and a solid understanding of the Intelligence Community and its operating environment. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to operate across multiple functional areas are essential, as PBMs are frequently called upon to integrate diverse efforts and provide both strategic insight and execution support.
Key Tasks:
• Experience formulating and defining systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of the business systems and industry requirements
• Experience performing analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper requirements specifications
• Experience providing consultation on complex projects and is considered to be top level contributor / specialist of most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of the technology to the current and future business environments
• Experience planning and managing the realization of benefits through the integration of new capabilities within business practices\Defining the benefits that will realize the strategic objectives of the program
• Experience maintaining focus on organizing and managing how time and resources are invested
• Experience advising the PMO on whether the outputs and outcomes will lead to the realization of new business processes
• Experience with optimizing the timing of the release of new deliverables into business operations

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 53,000 to 270,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
